Juan Day – Tulong Para Kay Juan

“Something about our little project: (PLEASE share!)

Me (Robert Alejandro) and a few friends, Eunice and her husband Don, Jetro Rafael (chef of Van Gogh is Bipolar), Angel Aquino (actress / TV personality) and her daughter (and i hear a few more people will be joining us) will be off 27th of May (Sunday) to Ifugao.

A big part of the trip is the bringing of “school kits” (school bag / notebook / pad paper / ball pen and or pencil / slippers) to some children who need them most.

We contacted DepEd to ask which schools were most in need and they gave us several choices. We decided to go to Epeng Elementary school at Alfonso Vista and another 2 schools in Mayo00yao Ifugao. All in all we are targeting 206 students from the 3 schools. We hope to raise Php38,110.00 (excluding personal expenses and transportation costs. The trip will include long bus rides and a 3 hour trek to Alfonso Vista.

We will make sure that ALL children from the schools will be given school kits. We also plan to give umbrellas to the teachers.

We want to thank you and everyone who is helping us with this project. It is small but we know that the kids will be encouraged to go to school this term and this is important to us.

SALAMAT!!!!

Sincerely,

Robert A. Alejandro
